Top scorer Joe Creasey returned from injury to score the winner as haart of Kent County League Division 2 East champions Sevenoaks FC completed their league campaign with 1-0 win at Guru Nanak on Saturday.
Creasey, sidelined since the Les Leckie Cup victory over Deal Town Rangers exactly a month ago with a shoulder problem, netted his 28th goal of the season to set-up FC's 20th win, which sees them finish six points clear of runners-up and long-time challengers Borden Village.
It was FC's third win over a strong Gravesend based side, without conceding a goal. Adam Porter was outstanding in goal and the midfield three of Dave Sansom, Dave Norburn and Guy Smuith worked very hard.
The first half was goalless in a game played on a very fast wet pitch, the only goal coming three minutes after the break. Andy Logan followed up his four goal display at Hadlow on Monday, by setting-up the winner. He broke away, putting Creasey in to lob the keeper.
FC were solid at the back, with Stuart Clarke and John Eastwood defending well, while Porter stopped Guru scoring , skipper Brad Draper, also injured in the closing weeks of the season returned for the last 10 mins for the tiring Creasey, and saw FC over the line.
Manager John James said: " With only one defeat this season and now two years unbeaten at Greatness Park, FC will pick up two trophies at the league's annual dinner on June 1. The players deserve everything for their hard work. "
