VASE TRIP NEXT UP FOR TOWN AFTER BLANK WEEKEND
Levett says first win at Deres takes pressure off
Sevenoaks Town travel to Guildford City in the first qualifying round of the FA Vase on Saturday. The first team had a weekend off, following the postponement of the game at Tunbridge Wells on Monday, due to their involvement in Tuesday's night's FA Cup replay at Dulwich Hamlet.
Levett was pleased with the first win at Erith & Belvedere and said: "When you are a new side, and haven't won yet, there is always the question of 'are we good enough' in everybody's mind.
"Now we know we are, it takes a lot of weight off everybody's shoulders, and can concentrate on our game, knowing if we play well we can get results."

IT'S A DUNN DEAL AS YOUNGSTER CHARLES MOVES TO WYCOMBE
Teenager who played for ressies last season gets chance with League 2 club
Youngster Charles Dunn has joined League 2 side Wycombe Wanderers. The 17-year old was a member of the Welling Academy, and played in Sevenoaks Town's reserve side last season.
Boss Keith Levett said; "It's great for Charles, he is a good footballer, and was only at the Academy for a year, so we can't take too much credit for that.
"He thanked me though for the time he was with us, and sent me a nice text, thanking us and all the Academy staff. I don't know the exact details of the deal, but he had a trial there, and Wycombe have offered him terms which is good.
Meanwhile another Academy youngster Leon Farrell made his Sevenoaks debut in the win at Erith & Belvedere last week.
Farrell also played in the ressies last season, and Levett said: " He is a Year 2 with us, and is progressing nicely. He has probably lacked a little bit of confidence, but we are trying to build that up, and tell him what a good player he is.
"I think he enjoyed it against Erith last week, and is another nice prospect coming through the Academy and is one of the future."

GIBBONS HAPPY TO BE OFF THE MARK WITH FIRST GOAL
"I was going to come down last year but decided to stay at Metrogas"
Jack Gibbons netted his first goal for the club against Erith & Belvedere on Saturday.
He produced a spectacular lob to level the scores in the second half, and has settled in well after impressing in pre-season training, having arrived with pal Charlie Burgess.
Gibbons is good mates with last season's top scorer Billy Shinners, and said: "I played with him at Metrogas, and we spoke about coming down last year, but I left it, and see how things went.
"I went training with Charlie in pre-season, the manager liked me, and I have been involved ever since."
Gibbons ((20) who lives in Bexleyheath and was with Charlton as a schoolboy added: I enjoyed scoring, set myself up, and smashed it in. I hadn't played at Park View Road before, but it was a nice pitch, and we were able to play our football.
"I can get goals, it depends where you want to play me, and I feel comfortable playing at this level. It's a bit more physical than I have been used to in the County League, and I am just looking to make my mark with Sevenoaks."
Boss Keith Levett said: "Jack scored a great goal against Erith & Belvedere, and took it well, I hadn't seen him do it in training, but he is a composed boy and a bright lad. He done well pre-season, so we kept him. He has got something about him, and reads the game well."
